A one pager incorporates the theme or main message of the literature, along with a quote and a graphic. It is designed to help the reader understand the text through visual communication.
All one pagers should include:
- The title of the piece of literature.
- A quote that represents the theme or the main idea that you want to convey to your audience.
- You need a transition, a lead-in and a quote which needs the proper parenthetical information- MLA (link)
- A visual ( picture or diagram) that represents the main idea of the theme or storyline
- A brief summary in your own words, of what the meaning or theme of this literature is to you, the audience.
